Who’s who in upcoming UFO documentary ‘Age of Disclosure’

(NewsNation) — New UFO documentary “Age of Disclosure,” which premiered on streaming on Friday, features a list of current and former government officials who are opening up about UAPs.

Here are some of the people who appear in the film and what they have said about UAPs:

Marco Rubio

Current Secretary of State Marco Rubio is one of the top names in the film.

Speaking to NewsNation’s Joe Khalil, Rubio noted that interest in UFOs carries a stigma, but it is one of the issues he says keeps him up at night.

“Things are flying over sensitive restricted airspace in the U.S., and they claim it’s not ours. That alone is reason to look into this stuff,” he said. “My biggest fear in all this, frankly, is that some adversary has made a technological leap. That would be really bad news, and we would be caught flat-footed on it.”

Kirsten Gillibrand

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., was one of a bipartisan group of lawmakers who helped establish the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the Pentagon department tasked with investigating reports of unidentified objects.

Gillibrand has noted that while many sightings are explainable, there are still several incidents where objects remain unidentified.

Mike Rounds

Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., has cosponsored legislation to increase transparency around UAP sightings, working with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

Rounds has pushed for a committee that would review UAP records and determine which can be disclosed without jeopardizing national security.

“If there was such information that existed, we were directing that it be preserved and then it be delivered for appropriate persons, and for review, by this select committee,” Rounds told NewsNation.

James Clapper

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has said it’s logical for the intelligence community to be involved in UAP investigations and says the current approach is out of date.

Chris Mellon

A former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence to Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Christopher Mellon, has said too much information on UAPs is classified, and the government should be more transparent.

Mellon told NewsNation’s Ross Coulthart about UAP videos the Pentagon has released and said he believes many more remain classified despite there being no potential national security risk.

“We want to reserve classification for things that is really sensitive and needs to be protected, but otherwise, it’s in the country’s best interest to get that information out,” Mellon told NewsNation.

Tim Burchett

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., has been one of the most outspoken voices on the issue of UAPs. He has frequently spoken to NewsNation about the need for transparency and his belief that Pentagon officials are stonewalling lawmakers attempting to look into the subject.

He has accused the Pentagon of sending people with limited knowledge to do briefings.

“These guys can swear under oath. They can take a lie detector test because they’re telling the truth as they know it,” Burchett told NewsNation.

Anna Paulina Luna

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is another member of a bipartisan group of lawmakers advocating for more transparency. Speaking to NewsNation, she raised questions about the Pentagon’s secrecy when it comes to congressional oversight and budgets.

“How do you expect us to continue to send taxpayer money to fund government projects if you aren’t even telling us what those projects are?” Luna asked.

André Carson

Rep. André Carson, D-Ind., has called UAPs a national security threat and said the stigma around the subject has gotten in the way of intelligence analysis.

Luis Elizondo

Former Pentagon insider Luis Elizondo says the U.S. has recovered unknown technology and biological remains of nonhuman origin. He also says a Veterans Affairs doctor has recovered an alien implant from a service member.

“In essence, you have a foreign object, which it’s a metallic object in there. And it seems to be encapsulated by some sort of biological material,” Elizondo told NewsNation.

The Defense Department has denied Elizondo’s statements are true.

Tim Gallaudet

Retired Navy Rear Adm. Tim Gallaudet has spoken out in support of whistleblower David Grusch, saying that when he worked for the government, he received information on a UAP sighting that was later pulled back.

He has raised the alarm about UAPs.

“We’re being visited by nonhuman intelligence with technology we really don’t understand and with intentions we don’t understand either,” he told NewsNation.

Jay Stratton

Another former Pentagon insider, Jay Stratton, released a memoir about his work on UAP investigations and the impact that his work had on himself and his family.

Eric Davis

Astrophysicist Eric Davis has claimed there are four types of aliens that are being investigated as possibly behind UAP sightings.

Karl Nell

Retired Army Col. Karl Nell has said that nonhuman entities are real and that they have been to Earth and are interacting with humans.

Hal Puthoff

A physicist who once worked for the CIA, Hal Puthoff says the U.S. has recovered at least 10 craft created by nonhuman intelligence.

Jim Semivan

Former CIA officer Jim Semivan helps run To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences, founded by former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge, which investigates UFOs.
