Watch: Odd orange orb spotted floating across sky in New Zealand

A peculiar piece of footage from New Zealand shows an odd orange orb eerily floating across the sky. The video, shared with the National UFO Reporting Center, occurred on the evening of Friday, November 8th, in the Christchurch suburb of St Albans. According to the witness, they were standing outside when they noticed the unusual ball of light overhead. The astounded observer watched the weird orb move silently across the sky for approximately one minute before it ultimately disappeared.

Remarkably, the witness estimated that the ball of light was approximately eight times the size of an airplane and was moving at a speed of around 62 miles per hour. As for what the weird object could have been, some have pointed to Christchurch's long history of UFO incidents and suggested that the orb could have been otherworldly. More skeptical observers, however, argue that the colorful sphere could have simply been a drone or a lantern that looked strange due to the perspective of the witness.
