The strange scene was reportedly filmed by an unnamed witness who noticed the unusual object while standing on their outside deck late last Saturday afternoon. "It seemed to move at a stable speed in a very determined/controlled way," they observed, noting that the mystifying sphere, which appeared almost dull rather than shiny, "wasn't swayed by the wind" as it steadily moved through the sky until it was no longer visible to the witness.

As for what the weird object could have been, some have suggested that the orb was otherworldly. To that end, the strange sphere bears a striking resemblance to a similarly shaped and equally mystifying dark object filmed by a witness in Edmonton, Canada earlier this month. More skeptical online viewers, however, argue that the UFO was probably just a drone or an errant balloon, though the latter explanation is something dubious given the way it traveled through the sky.
