Watch: Multiple UFOs filmed zipping around Mexican volcano
A webcam watching over a volcano in Mexico filmed multiple UFOs zipping through the night sky over the site that some believe to be a secret alien base. According to a local media report, the peculiar scene unfolded over the course of a half hour on Monday evening at the famed Popocatépetl volcano. A social media account that chronicles curious webcam footage from the country shared a time-lapse video (seen above) of the strange flurry of activity and expressed amazement at the "many lights in the sky" that were crisscrossing the sky at what seemed to be a tremendous speed.
The location of the unusual flap undoubtedly caught the attention of UFO enthusiasts in Mexico, as Monday night's activity was not the first time something odd had been spotted in the sky over Popocatépetl. Previous webcam videos from the location have shown all manner of aerial anomalies at the site, including some that appeared to enter or exit the volcano. The frequency of these events is such that it has long been theorized that Popocatépetl could be a clandestine base belonging to otherworldly visitors.
With that in mind, many pointed to the latest footage from the volcano as further indication that such fantastic speculation has merit. Should that be the case, one cannot help but wonder what might have prompted so many craft taking to the skies on Monday evening. That said, more skeptical observers argue that the UFOs are merely prosaic aircraft that seem to be extraordinary due to the time-lapse nature of the video, which condensed thirty minutes into a tidy thirty seconds.
