A peculiar video from Colombia shows what some believe to be a goblin moving through a field with a little girl who had disappeared for several hours before subsequently being found. According to a local media report, the curious case occurred last Monday when the unnamed youngster mysteriously went missing while walking near a hillside in the city of Cali. Concerned family members and residents quickly mobilized to look for the girl and rescue personnel from the community's fire department provided help with the search. Approximately 200 people scoured the area for several hours until, fortunately, the youngster was found in a forest no worse for wear from the mysterious misadventure.

The situation subsequently took a wondrous turn when a strange video emerged that, to some, provided a supernatural explanation for the girl's disappearance. In the footage, featured below, what appears to be a small figure possibly carrying something can be seen moving through a field of tall grass near where the lost youngster was found. More than a few astonished viewers of the now-viral video speculated that it shows a legendary goblin-like entity, known as a duende, which Latin American folklore has long suggested is responsible for the disappearances of children who are later mysteriously found in areas that had already been searched.
