A couple hiking in New Hampshire snapped a photo of a mysterious creature that some suspect could be a juvenile Sasquatch. The interesting picture (featured in the video below) was reportedly snapped by a witness who encountered the animal as he and his wife were near a stream on Mount Washington's Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail. "We thought it was a bear drinking and I took a photograph," he recalled, "when it heard us, it ran away on two legs." The bipedal nature of the beast understandably startled the pair and prompted them to make their own hasty exit from the scene.

The picture from the couple's brief encounter with the suspected Sasquatch is rather remarkable as the creature appears to be a small primate reaching down into the stream. That said, the lack of perspective and the almost cinematic nature of the image will undoubtedly leave skeptical viewers wondering if the too-good-to-be-true photo might be a well-crafted hoax.
