We saw a triangle craft come from the SW and made a sharp J turn and flew straight N over us towards Ben Lomond mountain.

My boyfriend and I went to the backyard to take our dog out at around 23:30. I had been telling him to watch the skies because for the past couple of weeks I had been seeing things in the night sky that looked like stars or satellites but that move erratically and then disappear. After about 15 minutes of looking at the stars I grabbed his arm and pointed at an ambient light coming fast from the south, around where there is a smoke stack close to the Saltair (W of Magna and SLC). It flew from as far south as we could see, approx. from SLC to Davis County, in about 2 seconds. When it came over the Syracuse/Clearfield area its shape became very apparent where as before it seemed like an ambient light source, not like a star or plane where it is distinctly sharp and small light. The shape of the craft was a perfectly equilateral triangle with three lights inside the corner of each point the another circle in the exact center with the same light and color. The lights on the UAP were not sharp or bright, they were a dim yellowish white and did not appear to cast light on anything below it. The UAP was distinctly a triangle, as there was an obvious difference in color of the body of the triangle contrasting against the night sky. Although, it seemed as if the space within the triangle excluding the circular lights, was somewhat translucent or tinted slightly darker than the sky behind it, but we had both agreed afterward that it seemed to be somewhat see-through despite the distinct edges that made it a triangle. We first saw the UAP flying from far in the south then making a very sharp J curve, approx. making the entire curve to orient straight north within 1-2 miles in width, it was a very sharp curve. Then it flew exactly straight over us and off to the north out of sight, we were cocking our necks straight up to watch it fly overhead. It went from about 3/4 length of sky in about 5 seconds. We were both essentially yelling in excitement and disbelief, and we both had goosebumps for about 30 minutes after. We have never seen anything like this in our lives, nothing we have seen commercially or militarily could maneuver in this way. Also there was no sound what so ever.
