The Lou Carcolh: A half snail, half serpent from France

The Lou Carcolh was described as a large creature from France. It was said to be a mysterious mixture of a snail and a serpent. The beast had an extremely long body with a gigantic shell on its back. It had long tentacles around its mouth that could reportedly stretch for miles. These appendages would reach out from the Lou Carcolh’s cave until they found prey. Once the creature’s tentacles found its prey, it would be dragged back to the beast itself.
