Report:

While walking on Turtle Beach, the witness took a sequence of eight photographs at one-second intervals. In one of these, a strange flying entity appeared: yellowish green in color, large, and insect-like in shape. The creature was visible in only a single frame, implying it had crossed the scene in less than a second. Neither the photographer nor any of the surrounding tourists noticed anything unusual at the time. The entity only became apparent upon later review of the photographs.

Japanese cryptid researcher Bintaro Yamaguchi compared this sighting to the North American Mothman. He pointed out that Mothman is often regarded as a harbinger of disaster and suggested that the 7.1-magnitude earthquake that struck near Indonesia on 15 November 2014 (just over a month later) could be connected.
