Skinwalker encounter in southern Texas? Terrifying wolf-headed humanoid stuns border town resident

In the quiet hours before dawn, a man in South Texas claims to have seen a translucent, wolf-headed humanoid racing through an alley, its ribs visible beneath pale, human-like skin. Was this a prowler from local legend, a genuine encounter with a Skinwalker, or something even stranger stalking the borderlands?

"Hello. I live in a small border town at the southern tip of Texas. About a week ago, my brother shared something with me that has left him questioning his sanity ever since. He's the kind of guy who will get up in the middle of the night to check outside the house, especially since several neighbors have had their property stolen.

According to him, it was around 3:15 a.m. when he heard a chorus of dogs barking loudly and aggressively down the alley behind our house. He got up, walked down the hall, and looked out the back door window facing south. After staring out the window for about five minutes, he insists he saw what he can only describe as a combination of a humanoid figure with the head of a wolf darting down the alley in a flash. He mentioned that he could see its ribs protruding through its skin.

As it ran, he said it appeared to be bending over with its palms flat on the ground, much like someone might bend down to touch their toes when stretching. He added that it didn't look very hairy but seemed to have human-like skin, all while possessing a translucent white or smoke-like color. Even hunched over, it was about five feet tall and five feet long.

The following day, he told my parents about the sighting, and they mentioned it to one of our neighbors. It turns out that a few days before my brother’s sighting, their boxer had been stolen from their backyard. Instead of dismissing my brother and parents as crazy, the neighbor, who has a Native American background, explained that it was probably what Native Americans refer to as a "Skinwalker" and that it was likely searching for her stolen dog. She also mentioned that whoever stole the dog was probably cursed now.

I know this story sounds bizarre, but unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures or other evidence to present.

For now, I’d like to ask if any of you have ever heard of or experienced anything related to a "Skinwalker" or something similar. Thank you." J
