Shape shifting 'white owl' encountered while driving

While driving home in central Florida one rainy evening, a witness struck what appeared to be a white owl—only to see it transform midair into something with elongated arms and a shifting, humanlike form. The fleeting, terrifying encounter left them wondering if it was a skinwalker or something even stranger, a mystery that lingers six years later.

“I was driving home one night in central Florida when I think I saw something unusual. There was something dead lying on the road ahead, and since it was raining, I didn’t get a good look. As we approached, a white owl flew towards the driver’s side window. I hit it, and at that moment, the shape elongated, and it seemed to have arms—I'm guessing it had legs too. It all happened so quickly that I couldn't make out any details.

I kept driving, scared out of my mind. When I got home, I researched snowy owls in Florida but found no relevant information. I wondered if it might have been a skinwalker or something similar, but I tried to push it out of my mind. This happened about six years ago, in November 2019, and since I’ve moved states, I’m not as freaked out anymore. What do you all think? The arms were the length of the dashboard, and the head transformed into a long shape without a beak.” S
