Retired military man, Leonid Ivanovich Glushko, after retirement from being a school director bought a small house in the small village of Novokubanka. Glushko reported that one day as he on his way to mow the hay outside the village on his bicycle for his goats when he saw a brightly luminous object approaching from the west in the sky. At first, Leonid thought it was the moonlight, but it was too early for the moon to come out. Frightened, he hid behind some bushes squatting down, watching the approach of the light or object.

The object (UFO) landed right in the meadow where he was going to mow the grass and suddenly, unexpectedly, someone grabbed him from behind and lifted him into the air. He then saw a very tall creature dressed in a tight-fitting uniform that resembled fish skin (scales), carrying him in the air on the way to a huge spherical object that was standing on the meadow on 3 metallic legs. As soon as Leonid approached the door of the UFO, it opened, and he saw two more aliens sitting inside the ship. According to Leonid, the creatures were human-like in appearance. Worried about his goats, he asked the aliens about the goats. In reply to his question, the aliens replied angrily that nothing would happen to them.

Then Leonid felt the ship take off, and they flew for a long time. The alien who dragged him into the ship spoke with him at length. He explained to Leonid something that made him very “angry.” However, Leonid forgot almost everything that was told to him by the aliens, but the only thing he remembered was the alien’s last words when he was released. Leonid said that when the object landed, the door on the ship opened, and the alien suddenly said: “You are interfering with us and our planet. We will be forced to destroy you.” The alien repeated this twice. Leonid walked down a ramp, and the alien slammed the door, and the shiny elongated oval-shaped sphere soared into the air and quickly vanished from sight.

Leonid said that when he got out of the ship, he did not recognize where he was and also “couldn’t even recognize himself” (amnesia?). Apparently the memories and details of the flight and what had happened to him aboard the craft had been erased. The only thing that he clearly remembered were the alien’s warning words. Leonid grabbed his bicycle, scythe, his bag, and returned home. He felt very ill and had to call an ambulance. He spent 6 weeks bedridden but did not tell anyone about his encounter with aliens. When Leonid felt better he told his family and friends about the encounter. It turned out that no one considered him crazy because a similar incident had occurred to at least one other resident in the area of Novokubanka.
