Huge grey coloured winged figure standing in middle of road, West Virginia

Location: Near Chief Cornstalk Hunting Grounds, West Virginia

Date: May 1961 Time: afternoon

A woman and her father were traveling by car along the Ohio River and were passing a section of the park when a tall man-like figure appeared on the road in front of them. The witnesses slowed their vehicle and were able to see that it was a huge gray colored figure that stood in the middle of the road. A pair of huge wings suddenly unfolded from the creature’s back and it took off straight up, disappearing out of sight in seconds.
