Location. Montrose Beach, Chicago, Illinois

Date: July 20 1994 Time: afternoon

The main witness and his girlfriend had decided to go to the beach and had packed up a grill and food and caught the bus to the beach. They walked the rest of the way. The girls ran off to play after they had made sure they had something to eat. Both were talking and eating when all of the sudden he heard someone yell out “Excuse me sir! Excuse me!” He looked up and saw two individuals standing about 75ft from them attempting to speak to them. The short “man” did not speak the whole time; his “butler” (so the witness thought) did all the talking. The “butler” appeared English and had a very heavy English accent. The witness looked around and saw no one else around. The butler said again, “Excuse me sir, we happened to notice you brought your blanket, your cooler and your grill and food and seemed to be having a holiday”. The witness mistook them for a couple of hungry tourists, trying to get some lunch off of them, and the witness was trying his best to be polite and civilized toward them. The little guy appeared to be trying to blend in but couldn’t help but stand out. The butler kept trying to distract the witness, but he couldn’t help sneaking off glances at the little guy, and the more he looked the more the butler kept trying to distract him. He finally got in a good look and saw him to be about chest high, with large eyes, with slit pupils that were half-closed. The witness kept looking back and noticing more things the stranger’s disguise couldn’t hide. He remarked later to his girlfriend that he looked like some kind of “Eddie Munster looking alien”.

The butler complemented them and again thinking that he was talking to a couple of tourists the witness starting bragging about Chicago and the Great Lakes. He told them that the Great Lakes contained 1/5 of the fresh water in the entire planet and that Lake Michigan was 300 miles long and 60 miles long, etc. He snuck a look back at the little guy and noticed that this time his pupils were fully dilated and staring directly at him. This bothered him and he tried to turn away, but the butler again calmed him down, but he couldn’t look at the little guy and soon broke contact. Suddenly when he looked back, they were gone. His girlfriend then commented to him why did he even talk to the strange little guy and he said that he hadn’t that he had only talked to his “butler” and her reply was “I only saw the little guy”. While talking about the incident and thinking of calling the police officers, they heard a voice say, “Excuse me, excuse me! They both just froze and dared not to turn around. Soon the girls came back, and they immediately left the beach. (The witness says that because of age and health he felt compelled to report this bizarre incident).

Comments: This type of apparent “hybrid” type creature has been reported widely in many places around the globe. In this case the so-called “Butler” appeared to have been some type of mental projection or hologram created by the short definitely inhuman “tourist”.
