My fiance and I took our dog potty, I saw the craft pass overhead, followed by a helicopter.

On March 28th, 2025, at around 1:20 AM my fiance and I decided to take our dog out to potty one last time before we settled in for the night, and my fiance decided to play with her as well. While she was throwing the ball to our pup, I noticed a light in the distance that I assumed was a plane so I watched it fly intrigued but as it passed overhead there were a number of unusual details that lead me to believe this was a UFO or UAP.

Firstly, there was absolutely no sound, even as it flew overhead it was silent, there was also an eerie silence of insect noises, traffic, and ambient night sounds that normally occur in our area. Secondly, as it flew overhead I noticed it was triangular in shape, and the structure was unlike any plane I have ever seen (even stealth planes) my grandfather was a pilot and served in the Air Force so I grew up looking at pictures and seeing different military planes as well, this craft had an “X” in the middle of the triangle that almost looked like support beams of some kind and gave the craft the appearance of having three holes or cutouts in its wings. Third, the object was flying very low, just below the lowest clouds and wasn't moving fast (relative to planes) at all, it took about 15-20 seconds for it to pass completely over our dog park, the craft moved in steady from the east to overhead and while overhead smoothly transitioned into flying south-southwest with no noticeable banking or deceleration. Lastly, roughly 1-2 minutes after the craft was gone I saw another light in the east coming from the same spot the first craft did, as it approached I heard the telltale sound of helicopter blades, sure enough flying almost the exact path at what appeared to be the same altitude was a helicopter, this is a common thing to see in my area but what was odd about it and made me even more suspicious was that it had a spotlight sweeping the sky in front of the helicopter, not the ground as they usually do, almost as if searching for the craft I had just seen.

I came inside after telling my fiance what I just saw (she did not witness the craft, only saw that I was fully invested and distracted) and drew it while it was fresh in my memory as I didn't have my phone to take photos or video.

INVESTIGATION REPORT

Interview date/time: 5-17-2025 at 8:50am Pacific Time Zone

On 5-17-2025 at approximately 8:50am, I interviewed C regarding his flying triangle sighting on 3-28-2025 at approximately 1:20am MTZ. C stated that on the incident date and time, he was standing outside of his residence looking up in the night sky. C stated that he is a seasoned stargazer, and observes many different craft flying in the day/night sky around his house. C also added that his grandfather was a pilot, so he grew up looking at different craft, and has continued his interest to the present.

C stated that on the incident date, he first saw just a white light traveling east towards him, and assumed it was an airplane. C then stated that when the craft was directly over him, he observed that it wasn't like any aircraft he had ever seen. C stated that he could only see underneath the craft, which was a V-shape, and it had what he thought were supportive beams in between the craft's two wings. He also stated that the craft had 3 lights on each tip. Please see C's drawing in his initial NUFORC report.

C stated that the craft was approximately 1000 to 1500 feet above him, and was maybe traveling 80 to 120 mph. He then stated that the speed was nowhere close to the speed of the airplanes he had observed flying over his residence. C stated that the craft was black and approximately 75 feet long and 75 feet wide. C also stated that he could not see any writing, windows, or other lights on the craft. C stated that the craft made no sound and had no exhaust that he could see or smell.

C stated that the entire sighting took approximately 15 to 20 seconds from the time he saw the first light to the time the craft passed overhead and silently flew south. C stated that he didn't see the craft tilt or turn as it flew away.

C then stated that what made this sighting even more exciting was the unidentified black helicopter that flew overhead approximately 1 to 2 minutes after the first craft. C stated that the helicopter flew in roughly the same path and altitude as the first craft, and the helicopter's spotlight was shining in the air as if looking for the first craft, and not towards the ground like he's usually observed.

Conclusion

C stated that he did some online research but couldn't find exactly what he saw. He also stated that he filed a report with MUFON as well, but hasn't heard back from them. When I asked C if he had any physical reaction to his sighting, he stated that a birthmark he had on his right hand up to his right elbow most of his life, expanded up to his right shoulder for 2 to 3 days then went back to normal. C also stated that during the week following the sighting, he had insomnia and was only able to get maybe 1 to 2 hours of sleep a night. C stated that the insomnia only lasted a week though. I checked FlightRadar24 and didn't find anything. I am classifying this as an anomalous sighting.
