Chicken wearing scarf stirs witchcraft concerns at Zimbabwean courthouse

Business at a Zimbabwean courthouse was brought to a standstill by the arrival of a scarf-clad chicken that prowled the property with an eerie poise that made many wonder if the bird was sent there as a form of black magic. According to a local media report, the bizarre incident occurred last Monday at the Kwekwe Magistrate Court. As the normally routine day unfolded, visitors and workers were stunned by the sudden appearance of a black chicken wearing a red scarf. Beyond the presence of the bird itself, what made the moment particularly mystifying was how the creature strutted around in a manner some likened to a human.

"It was just there ... calm, confident," recalled one awestruck court officer, "like it was sent for something spiritual." It would appear that many believed that scenario as several witnesses fled from the scarf-clad chicken out of fear. Meanwhile, other individuals filmed the peculiarly poised poultry that looked like it possessed a law degree of its own. Looking back on the wondrous event, the court officer mused, "we honestly don't know whether it strayed in or someone left it there to win a case through dark means." The weird mystery ultimately ended with no resolution as the dapper chicken was nowhere to be seen the following day, leaving behind far more questions than answers.
