Bloodhound refuses to enter room after mom buys haunting 100-year-old portrait

If the Bloodhound’s intuition says it’s haunted, run.

As your resident creepy Goth girl of all things Ghost Adventures, Michael Myers, and so-called “trigger” objects, I know firsthand the ramifications of meddling with the other side.

Georgia’s Bloodhound instincts are already in check for things like tracking scent, but as it turns out, she’s also a pretty good detector of the supernatural. When Mom brought home a century-old portrait, Georgia said, “Absolutely not,” which is enough for me to grab the sage!

The recent video shared by @becsnapped shows that once the 100-year-old antique portrait was hung, Georgia lost her mind, barking at the sight of it. Either she doesn’t like new things, or that portrait is mega haunted, and she’s warning Mom all about it!

For the record, I’m with Georgia! I’ve had my fair share of wild experiences like this, so I know it’s worth listening to her concerns. Dogs sense things we can’t, even if they can’t be explained. I’d pay attention to that!

Maybe, possibly Mom should return the portrait and cross her fingers the lady in the portrait doesn’t curse the house over it (but seriously…)! Hey, I’ve seen The Exorcist and know how it ends!

This is one of those clips everyone’s on the same page about. Even the naysayers are chiming in to support the Hound dog. Thousands more are believers and concur—get that thing gone, girl!

“We didn’t need the dog to tell us this thing is haunted… we have eyes and can see it for ourselves,” one person wrote. “Immediately, no. Return it and get a priest to bless the home,” another suggested.

“Georgia said, ‘Do you want ghost? Because that’s how you get ghost! Put it back!'” another person joked, although that’s probably what she said!

Others—many others—shared the same sentiment, adding, “That woman absolutely comes out of that painting at night,” and that’s the kind of thing you don’t want to mess with (unless you’re a weirdo like me)!

Part Two of This Fascinating Story

In a follow-up video, it’s explained that maybe the pup was in a bark-off because the woman in the portrait was lonely and missing her husband. So, Mom “doubled down” and bought the portrait of him, too, to hopefully help subside the strange energy in the house.

According to her, that’s why Georgia was upset. Adding the pup isn’t “the brightest paranormal authority out there,” and many people in the comments also doubled down on suggesting sage become her bestie, too, and honestly? I 100% agree, just in case!

Whatever you believe, or don’t, Georgia had an issue with something, and that’s worth investigating. As for me, I’m headed straight to that Etsy shop that sold the portraits in hopes of finding my very own haunted item!
