Viral inactivation kit - Dr Weber Medical

Surfers Health Medical Centre Practice Principal Dr Mark Jeffery discusses how photodynamic therapy can inactivate viruses by destroying the lipid membrane around the virus and breaking down its nucleic acid.

Dr Jeffery also introduces a new viral inactivation kit produced by German company Weber Medical that can help combat respiratory viruses by utilising photodynamic therapy.

The Weber Medical viral inactivation kit contains a laser watch spectra device along with Vitamin B2 as a photosensitiser. The kit also contains a throat adapter and nose adapter.
