In a weird story out of China, a man was forced to turn to the police for help after a fortune teller convinced his wife that he was cheating on her. According to a local media report, the weird case of marital discord began when the unnamed woman paid $70 for a reading from an online psychic. During the session with the "so-called fortune-telling master," a Guandou Police representative explained, the mystic regretfully revealed that her husband was involved in multiple salacious affairs.

Putting considerable trust in the psychic, the woman was positively apoplectic over the alleged infidelity, much to her faithful husband's chagrin. "She's been calling this fortune-teller non-stop since early morning," said the man, who insisted that he was not cheating on his wife. "I told her I can't take it anymore," he lamented, "life like this is simply unbearable." Hoping to clear his name, the beleaguered husband eventually reported the situation to police, who were apparently able to disprove the psychic's cruel claims and, in turn, brought peace back to the marriage.
