Tonight the Syrian Army initiated a powerful offensive against militants inside the eastern countryside of Dara’a pronince.

According to Inside Syria Media Center Cources, the Syrian troops started a flurry of artillery shells and missiles towards the jihadists positions near the Lijat region.

No further details have been reported.

The government forces is expected to start its long-awaited offensive in southern part of Syria in near future, as they gave the militants an ultimatum that expires in a week.

If the jihadists do not lay down arms to the Syrian army, the government forces will initiate a massive attack inside both the Dara’a and Al-Quneitra provinces.
